If you perform a vessel documentation search through our site, you’ll find pertinent vessel information such as the vessel’s name, its official number, flag, and hull identification number in addition to its tonnage information, service information, and dimensions.
Additionally, may receive the dates that the vessel was issued its current Certificate of Documentation as well as the date that expires.
You can perform such a search here.
However, what you won’t find is any information about the vessel’s ownership. That information was removed from these searches back in 2018. That said, you can learn more about a vessel’s chain of ownership, as well as if there are any liens/encumbrances against a vessel and more by applying for an Abstract of Title. Do so here.
