We understand that vessel documentation can be confusing. Even if you’ve spent your entire life on boats and the water, even if you’ve owned your vessel for several years, the documentation process can be an opaque one. You may be going through our site, wondering which document is right for your vessel, if any of them. That’s why we have people who can help. Should you have any questions, feel free to call our national vessel documentation center phone number. That’s just one of the many ways that we can assist you.
Document Processors
When you wrote essays as a student, you may have had a parent, or maybe a friend or even a student advisor who could look over them before they got sent to the teacher. They might not have read your essays to find if there was something glaringly wrong with them, but rather just to catch small mistakes that you might have glossed over. At our site, we have document processors who can do the same thing. They’ll look over your documentation, making sure that everything is in working order before we send it off to the Coast Guard. That way, you don’t have to worry about getting your documentation sent back to you.
All of the Documents You Need
Sometimes, when people call us with a question like: “there are so many documents at your site, I’m not sure which one is for me” it fills us with a bit of pride. That’s because we have so many different kinds of documents at our site. We have each of the documents that you might need for basically every step of the boat ownership process. That means that whether you’re buying your vessel, selling it, or just renewing the documentation, we can help. All of the most commonly used documents are in the center, but the entire list is on the left for easy access.
Examine the Link
We try to put as much information as possible into our site. For example, if you let your cursor linger over some of the links on the left, you’ll get a detailed explanation as to what that form is for. We get that “Change of Endorsement / Trade Indicator” might be a bit confusing at first glance. So, if you put your cursor over those, you can get a great explanation before you click on the link. That way, you can spend less time on a documentation site and more time doing, well, anything else.
